REGISTRATION

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2016 ORANGE BLOSSOM REVUE. In order to avoid errors in record-keeping, we are requiring all registration to be done on-line. Additionally, to accommodate our vendors, we have decided to not charge a fee for participation but rather a 100% refundable $50 deposit. We know being a small business owner can be tough and we also understand that without our Tastemakers we would function much like a two legged stool. We want to do everything we can to make this a memorable experience for you and your businesses. 

The $50 deposit helps us insure that we what we advertise is what our customers get. The deposit is 100% refundable upon arrival at our event and non-refundable if you are a no show.  

We appreciate your willingness to support our humble event and look forward to this year's Orange Blossom Revue! The registration form is located directly below the slideshow.

Important Note

Vendors are selected ahead of time and by invitation only. You may only register to vend if you have been invited by our selection committee. Please call Caitlin Meadows at 863-845-6562 if you would like to be considered as an addition to this year's event or if you have any other questions.

We will announce the final lineup of registered Tastemakers on October 16th.

Hosted on the beautiful shores of historic Lake Wailes Park on December 2nd and 3rd, the Florida Tastemakers Marketplace is just one element of the Orange Blossom Revue. This special weekend features a Florida BBQ Association sanctioned BBQ competition, live music festival, lakeside demonstrations and much, much, more! Hosted by the Lake Wales Rotary Club and partner organizations, proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations including  Lake Wales High School, and other local charities and not-for-profits.

HOW THE EVENT WORKS

Attendees pay admission at the gate and will receive an event armband. 21+ will receive an alcohol wrist band. There will also be tents for attendees to exchange cash for the event currency - the Crown Jewel. All food and beverage sales will be in the OBR currency and benefit the collaborating organizations. There will be ATMs on-site as well. The Tastemakers Marketplace is the only section of the event dealing in cash (or credit if you have the capabilities.)

LOCATION

ADDRESS: 33 N Lake Shore Blvd | Lake Wales, FL 33853 - At the Lake Wailes park at the intersection of E. Park Avenue & Lakeshore Blvd, Lake Wales, FL

Directions from Highway 27: Turn east on to Central Avenue and follow it until it intersects with Lakeshore Blvd. Then make a left and you'll see it on your right. 

Directions from State Road 60: Turn north at the intersection of HWY 60 and First Street. Then make a right on to Central Avenue and follow it until it intersects with Lakeshore Blvd. Then make a left and you'll see it on your right. 

 

SETUP/BREAKDOWN
 

Vendors will be assigned spots and each spot includes 2-6 foot tables with tablecloths and 2 folding chairs. Electricity will be provided. Vendors may begin set-up at 1:00 pm on Friday, but booths must be completely set up no later than 10:00 am on Saturday. You will be able to load and unload your vehicle close to your booth, but vehicles must be parked in designated parking during the open hours of the event. Hired security will patrol the grounds on Friday night. Breakdown may begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday. Each vendor is responsible for clean up of their own booth space.

 

HOTEL


The Lake Wales Hampton Inn (863-734-3000) is offering rooms for $99/night for Orange Blossom Revue participants - This block of rooms will be held until November 2nd, 2016. Just call and tell them you are participating in the Orange Blossom Revue.

 

MORE INFORMATION

  • This is a family event. No controversial items, services, music, etc. will be permitted.
  • Vendors must abide by Florida sales tax rules if applicable. Info at www.myflorida.com.
  • Once vendors have signed up for our event they will be expected to show up and set up at the event. Please no cancellations.
